Incredibly moving tribute to these three girls. The detail about mile-a-minute weed near the Delaware really grounded Brenda's story in painful specificity. I dunno if anyone will remember them outside thesepages but at least this keeps their memory alive. The alternate futures felt like necessary oxygen after such heartbreaking accounts.
